VeraDRAKEOn 19th July 2025, peacefully at Tolson Grange Care Home, Vera aged 100 years of Kirkheaton.

Wife of the late Leonard, dearly loved Mum, mother in law, grandma and great grandma.

Funeral service at Kirkheaton Parish Church on Friday 15th August at 12.15pm followed by a private committal.

Family flowers only please. Donations if wished are to be shared between Kirkwood Hospice and Waves Daycare c/o

Radcliffe Funeral Service, The Lindens, New Road, Kirkheaton, HD5 0JB or a donation box will be available at the service.

Will friends please accept this intimation and meet at the Church.

I remember Vera very well. She was committed to raising funds for Kirkwood Hospice and did so much volunteering. A lovely lady. Her rendition, as a fairy, at the patients Christmas party was brilliant and enjoyed by patients and staff alike and will always stay with me. Used to enjoy seeing her daughter, Rosemary and grandson, Michael, at events. My thoughts are with all the family at this sad time ❤️.
